About Sorted

Here’s how this story starts … Once upon a time, two hardcore music lovers and hard-working members of crews various and sundry along Colorado’s Front Range decided that although they had much love for their local scene, there was something missing: parties featuring sounds they weren’t hearing quite often enough. Parties that prioritized proper sound and the vibe above all else.

At a Sorted, you’ll encounter friendly, inclusive dancefloors moving to sounds that defy genres, blur lines and mutate the traditions of UK bass music, house, garage, techno & idm. Sorteds are gatherings of like-minded music nrrrds both old & young, who come together to find sacred connection on the dancefloor & explore liminal points along the Hardcore Continuum.

A typical Sorted might start with the music of Sunn O))) or Terry Riley, but end with Foul Play and Omni Trio. You’ll hear everything from deep house, acid and hardcore rave to grime, footwork, leftfield bass and broken techno over the course of an evening. You won’t hear 8 different DJs playing hour-long sets of only bangers, but rather, lose yourself in long, story-telling journeys that run from 2-4 hours, spun by master DJs that hail from both the US and overseas. You’ll find lots of attention to detail, from the free water to -when it’s possible- a proper chillout room.

Sorted is a group effort, led by curators with decades of experience who know what works and what doesn’t, lifers who keep their ear to the ground and their finger on the pulse. The staff, from sound engineers to the bartenders, from the stage managers to the setup and teardown crew are experienced, seasoned ravers who aren’t just there to work, but to experience the party alongside you.

Mostly though, Sorted is everyone who comes to the dance, from those who haven’t missed a Sorted in years, to the newcomers experiencing these unique & intimate gatherings for the very first time.

Sorted parties will push you out of your comfort zone and show you a different side of electronic music. We’ll see you on the dancefloor!
