Back to our number series, Sorted18 will showcase two of our all time favorites - Hodge and Darwin! We're thrilled to have them both in Denver at the same time, perhaps with some of their legendary b2b action. We've got a new, amazing warehouse space for this one and a proper chillout room as well!! With two rooms of sound going all night, we've got loads of space to feature local Denver talent.

This is sure to be a treat for the music-forward ravers that love to get sorted. Safe spaces, harm reduction, and sustainability are our priorities.

HODGE | Livity Sound | Two Moons | Bristol

No stranger to Sorted dance floors, if there is any DJ out there that exemplifies what Sorted is all about, it’s HODGE. A key figure in Sorted’s history, Jake absolutely smashes it every time he's played for us, and we are so very pleased to have him back in Denver. A true Bristolian techno legend, and one of our all time favorite DJs and producers, Hodge is a true creative force in the dance-music world with releases on labels such as Livity Sound, Timedance, fabric Records, his own New Moon label and so so many more... it's hard to keep up with him!

There are few things in life that are absolute guarantees, but Hodge + Sorted is so reliable that you could set your watch to it.

DARWIN | Spe:c Records | REEF | Berlin

Another Sorted favorite, Canada-born Berlin-based DJ and label-owner DARWIN has been responsible for bringing the bleeding-edge of UK sound system music to dance floors around the world. At the helm of the legendary REEF party, Darwin also channels her avidity for UK-centric sounds into her label SPE:C, and just this year launched a new psychedelic bass party series called Abyss. Despite a fast-growing international profile, her sets remain as uncompromising as ever, filled double gunfingas deep with dark bass energy.

We're so pleased to be bringing Darwin back to play for you at a proper warehouse all nighter.

F1 SHIFTY | Scuffed Records | Black Petal | Denver

Denver based producer/DJ F1 SHIFTY is exploding into the national/international dance music community and Denver is truly blessed to call him our own. Beginning as a dedicated jazz guitar player and evolving through a variable cornucopia of styles, f1 shifty’s diverse range of music productions are being played on dance floors around the world. He's known for delivering a wild live set that incorporates outbursts of cheeky club and bass revolving around groovy, locked in techno.

We've been eager to host Will at Sorted, and are so pleased that the time has finally come. Get there early, you won't want to miss a minute of f1 shifty.

TENANDTRACER | Denver

Celebrating 25 years of this foundational project, tenandtracer will be anointing the chillout room with one of his legendary live sets, an excursion into the world of ambient drone. A rare appearance these days, we're truly in for a lovely experience in sound.

CRIX MADINE | Obliq Recordings| Lunar Lodge | Denver

Colorado-based artist Crix Madine has been producing an array of electronic music styles for the past 30 years, including as co-founder of the Obliq Recordings record label and as former member of Multicast and Freqmodif. Nate's current projects include Normal Ones and two experimental audiovisual projects: L'Astra Cosmo and nuuun. Crix Madine's recent mix series known as "Offworld Discoveries" features current and past forms of electronic listening music as well as left-field club-oriented excursions.

SUBJET | Denver

A Chicago native, Subjet is your friendly local vinyl dj - independent, in person, and underground. Known for his all vinyl sets and love for future nostalgic sounds, he'll be spinning some dub reggae and dubstep for your listening and grooving pleasure.

NEWNUMBERTWO | Sorted | Denver

Returning to his roots, newnumbertwo will be digging deep into his extensive collection of deep space psychedelic ambient to bring music that is explicitly designed for the chillout room at the rave: an intense experience designed to help burn away ego & illusions of separation, the sort of thing that will melt you into the couch, a journey of force, sans the thumpity-thump.

We booked re:ni for night one of the first Sorted Weekender in 2022. We brought Laksa last year for the first Sorted|Sessions party. This time we get the full RE:LAX treatment, with both label founders together for one special night in Denver. Sorted resident newnumbertwo will kick off the night, and we will likely see some b2b2b action as well.

Growing up listening to drum & bass and dubstep, Lauren's sets join the dots between her dub-wise influences and contemporary bass-driven techno, electro, jungle and breaks. She brings a UK sensibility to the dance floor, bouncing across bpms with deep bass lines and broken rhythms. ✨

Her djing just keeps getting better and better - each new dance floor experience with re:ni becomes our new favorite set! Her production is taking major flight as well with releases on Ilian Tape, Timedance, and her RE:LAX label (co-founded with Laksa) ! 🎧 👽

Laksa (Timedance | RE:LAX | London)

Running the label, club night and NTS show RE:LAX with re:ni, Laksa has been consistently pushing bass mutations since his early EPs on Batu’s Timedance label. A Bristol bass head at heart, he effortlessly blurs styles and genres with a UK rudeness. With his release Voices out on Ilian Tape last year, and more releases lined up for RE:LAX, Laksa continues to push things FWD. 🌀🛸

Our fearless Sorted co-founder and long standing resident dj will be launching off the evening in the most perfect way. Wally is versatile, to say the least (did you catch his dub techno set in the chillout room at Sorted18?). You know that his selecting will scratch all the itches and loosen up the dance floor. Get there early and be part of the blast off! 🚀🎶

DJRUM | London
Djrum is a perennially acclaimed underground artist, known for his ability to deftly fuse a range of genres from jazz, hip hop and dubstep to ambient and techno. Expect a gorgeous sonic experience that will move both body and spirit.

A keen listener of all things new and old, whether it be singer and composer Meredith Monk, early sacred music like Palestrina, John Cage’s solo piano works, or the rhythmic experimentation of the artists on Livity Sound or Illian Tape, his talent is in effortlessly combining his influences into a completely personal and bewitching aesthetic all of his own.

We're ripe with juicy anticipation for three hours of all-vinyl bliss for Djrum's Denver debut. Come help us welcome him to the Denver underground.

MIA KODEN | London
Mia Koden aka Sancha Ndeko grew up in Ghana and Nigeria soundtracked by her parents' lively stash of music from across the African continent. Now based in South London, she has been championing underground electronic music whilst building an arsenal of records traversing many sonic corners of the world.

Having made serious waves within the acclaimed duo Sicaria Sound, her new alias brings along the same infectious energy and bass-and-percs-heavy sensibilities with a fresh injection of 2-step, steppas dub and electronic realms. Ndeko's solo releases continue to build her momentum as a forward thinking producer across low-end electronic territories and beyond.

While this won't be the first Mia Koden performance for Denver (our friends at Sub.mission brought her out in 2024) we're excited to see what inspiration a grungy warehouse + sortedfam vibes will provide. Come join us, you won't regret it!

CTØPH | Denver
CTØPH’s b-boy adventures began with boomboxes and cardboard in the first grade. Brought up through the 90s midwest rave scene with an ear tuned to the underground, he was already an accomplished junglist when we first crossed paths. Endless hours spent mixing, scratching, and thrifting drum machines shaped his DIY sensibility and quickly secured his spot as Sorted's go-to for tuning the decks and solving day-of-show conundrums.

From scratch label releases to hardware productions to his ability to breathe new life into synths, CTØPH is an experimentalist, going where the muse goes. It's been a minute since he's been behind the decks for Sorted, and we can't wait to hear what he has planned. Get there early and don't miss a minute of this set, you won't be sorry.

HAUS CATZ | Denver
The DJ / Production trio made up of Tailspin, DJ PurRpLeXeD, and Pounces is Haus Catz. Together their sound revolves around a wide-ranging palette of house, club, and techno with forays into breaks, lo-fi, and leftfield sensibilities. Their first two EPs, Club Nip, Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 received support from several standout artists and tastemakers, including Baltra, M. Bootyspoon, Ouri and DJ Plead. Haus Catz have hosted multiple club residencies around Denver, and they also throw legendary all-night warehouse parties known for top tier talent, Hi-Fi sound, and sold out crowds. Stay dialed in for upcoming releases encapsulating the sound and spirit of their live shows - moody, groovy, and pspspsychedelic.
